Enables Simple and Easy Migration from GroupWise and Exchange server environments to Google Apps

With Cloud Google Migrator from Cloud Technology Solutions, you can migrate all email, calendar, contacts and archives from Novell GroupWise and Microsoft Exchange from both primary and secondary domains. A very high level of configurability is provided to enable administrators to operate the migration tool in the most appropriate way for their environment.

Features of the tool include:

User provisioning

  • Extract user details from GroupWise/Exchange
  • Provision users directly from the tool
  • Set users initial password
  • Force password change on next login

Migration of email

  • Labels are applied to the imported email within Google Mail to identify the folder or category the mail originated in
  • The read state of all messages is retained
  • Forwarded messages merged as Google Mail forwarded messages
  • Import email within date ranges
  • GroupWise rules become Google filters
  • GroupWise signatures to Google signatures
  • All other email settings preserved

Migration of calendars

  • Both main and sub-calendars can be migrated, creating main and secondary calendars within Google Apps
  • Shared calendar access is transferred
  • Appointment alarms are retained
  • Import appointments from and to specified date ranges

Migration of contacts

  • All contact information is imported to Google Apps including email addresses, instant messaging addresses, telephone numbers and postal addresses, etc.
  • Contact group information, along with group members.

Migration of archive files (GroupWise only)

  • GroupWise archive files, comprising any or all of the above elements can also be migrated
  • Archived email is all tagged with an Archived label in Google Mail
