Cloud Sherpas Philanthropy is a not-for-profit organization fully operated by Cloud Sherpas employees and spanning our corporate offices in North America, Southeast Asia and Australia and New Zealand. The philanthropic unit, run by Philippines-based marketing manager Karen Tomas, cultivates a broad focus on community advocacy and support for local non-profit organizations.

The mission of Cloud Sherpas Philanthropy is to engage Cloud Sherpas employees, friends and partners in an ongoing collaborative initiative focused on giving back to our local, national and global communities through volunteer work, financial support and creative contributions to education, human rights  development initiatives.

General Information

Cloud Sherpas Philanthropy was founded in October of 2010, under its former name GlobalOne Philanthropy, by a group of employees who organized an informal day of volunteer work at a local orphanage in Manila.

In recognition and support of the good will of its employees, several Cloud Sherpas executives formed the Philanthropy Group, which fosters a corporate culture in which employees, and their friends and families, are encouraged to foster a healthy work/life balance that includes at least 4 hours of work each month dedicated to community or environmental nonprofits.

Philanthropy is one of three employee-operated Culture Committees at Cloud Sherpas supports.
