David Northington, CEO
David is the CEO of Cloud Sherpas, focused on growing the business, client satisfaction and establishing Cloud Sherpas as the market’s leading Cloud Services Brokerage.
David has over 25 years experience leading professional services organizations with a focus on enterprise technology, having served as the COO of Capgemini North America, EVP of Kanbay, COO of Adjoined and CEO of Plaut Consulting. At Capgemini, he oversaw multiple profit and loss centers across the US and Canada and provided strong leadership in many areas including people management, profit optimization, and vertical expansion.
Chris Arroyo, CFO
As Chief Financial Officer, Chris is responsible for the Financial and Shared Services operations for Cloud Sherpas. His areas of focus include helping the business manage through a high growth profit generating program.
Chris brings more than 17 years of experience in the areas of Finance and Operations in the Technology and Consulting industry, as he has held many leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Capgemini North America. At Capgemini and Ernst & Young, he specialized in optimizing internal cost structures and enhancing the business operational efficiency, discipline and predictability of operations, monthly forecasting and monthly financial close processes. He played an integral role in developing competitive client pricing and deal structure strategies and negotiating many of the company’s largest and most complex contracts. Chris has also held leadership positions in the areas of financial and operational management, financial modeling and securities pricing at both Bank of America and Deutsche Bank. Most recently Chris served in an advisory role for high-growth companies.
Gary DiOrio, President, Salesforce
Gary is the President of the Cloud Sherpas’ salesforce.com Business Unit. He comes to Cloud Sherpas with an extensive leadership background and over 20 years of experience in the consulting and software industry, most recently serving as the leader for one of Capgemini’s largest business units in North America. Under Gary’s leadership, the unit experienced market leading top line growth each of the last two years. In addition to this top line growth, Gary grew profits over 50% in each of the same fiscal periods, establishing and maintaining double digit operating profit margins.
Prior to leading this unit, Gary led the firm’s largest Service Line where, under his leadership, revenues doubled. Before joining Capgemini, Gary was the North American President for Intershop, a leading provider of comprehensive e-commerce software solutions and served as the North American CEO of Plaut AG, which focused on SAP consulting, license sales and IT-services. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University and a Masters of Science from Drexel University.
Douglas Shepard, President, Google
Doug is the President of Cloud Sherpas, focused on growing the business as the leader in the Google Enterprise ecosystem.
Doug has spent most of his career helping to launch and then build high growth technology companies. Doug worked at EVault, as Vice President, Enterprise Sales. During his six-year tenure, from 2002 – 2008, he helped lead EVault from 2 Million to 48 Million in revenue and a successful acquisition by Seagate Technologies. Prior to Cloud Sherpas, he was responsible for North American sales at Atempo for three years. Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University.
Philip Sidebottom, President, ServiceNow
Philip is the President of Cloud Sherpas’ ServiceNow Business Unit. Prior to Cloud Sherpas, Philip founded Navigis in 2004 and acted as its Chief Executive Officer. He has worked throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East, as well as Europe and North America in the area of Enterprise and IT Service Management. Since 1999, Philip has been recognized as an expert in these areas, and has worked in many roles such as Technical Implementer, Consultant and Process Advisor, Project Manager, Business Developer, Partner Enablement, Manager, Director and CEO.
Philip has been cited as an expert in IT Service Management practices and a thought leader in the industry, as he has acted as an advisor for companies in various industries including finance, manufacturing, transportation, communication, government and education.
John Orrock, SVP Global Delivery Center
John is a co-founder of GlobalOne, the platinum salesforce.com partner that merged with Cloud Sherpas in March 2012. Today he leads the Asia Pacific operations for Cloud Sherpas and is responsible for the company’s Philippine offshore delivery operation, expanding the region’s business and service offerings.
With 20 years of international technology consulting experience, John has a solid foundation on which to grow Cloud Sherpas’ Asia Pacific business. John founded GlobalOne, the company Cloud Sherpas merged with March 2012, and OKERE, the first enterprise level salesforce.com partner and leading cloud computing services provider, in 2003 with offices in New York, London and Sydney. OKERE was acquired by Fujitsu Consulting in 2007.
Eran Gil, SVP Business Development
Eran is a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Cloud Sherpas and is responsible for the company’s business development efforts, focusing on international growth strategies and business partnerships.
Eran comes to Cloud Sherpas with over 15 years of sales and business development experience in the technology industry. Prior to co-founding Cloud Sherpas, Eran led the international expansion for Canvas Systems as the Director of International Business. In just over two years, Eran nearly tripled the business and the company’s international foot print. Prior to Canvas Systems, Eran served in several management roles of sales and business development with various globally oriented technology organizations. Eran holds an MBA from Emory University and is a veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Special Forces Unit.
David Hoff, SVP Technology
David is a co-founder and the Senior Vice President of Technology. He is responsible for emerging technologies, overseeing customer support, and internal operations at Cloud Sherpas.
David brings over 15 years of IT management experience to Cloud Sherpas.
Prior to joining Cloud Sherpas, David served as the Director of Mobility Solutions at Corus Group and Director of Program Management at Optimus Solutions. In these roles, David built professional services practices focused on solution development and implementation using a mix of technologies from Microsoft, RIM/Blackberry, and IBM. David holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and MBA in Technology Management.
Michael Cohn, SVP Marketing
Michael is a co-founder of Cloud Sherpas and the Senior Vice President of Marketing. He is responsible for developing the company’s overall market message and executing demand generation programs.
Michael brings over 15 years of marketing experience to Cloud Sherpas, specifically in the areas of technology services marketing, product marketing and channel marketing. Prior to founding Cloud Sherpas, Michael served as the Director of Marketing at Optimus Solutions and as a WW Channel Marketing Manager in IBM’s Software Group. Michael holds an MBA from Emory University and enjoys spending time with his two young children.
