Jon Hallett, Executive Chairman
Jon is the Executive Chairman of Cloud Sherpas. Jon’s areas of focus include capital management, strategic direction and new market development.
Prior to Cloud Sherpas, Jon was Executive Chairman at Northridge Systems, a leading provider of collaboration solutions to large and midmarket enterprises. Jon also was a company director and turnaround executive at IT solutions firm mindSHIFT Technologies, where he helped quadruple revenue in 2 years. Earlier he held executive management positions at AppNet (acquired by CommerceOne) and was CEO at NMP, a consulting, SaaS and managed services company, at which he returned over 20x invested capital to his institutional investors. Jon has worked with numerous other start-ups as an executive consultant to the leadership team.
Douglas Shepard, CEO
Doug is the CEO of Cloud Sherpas, focused on growing the business as the leader in the Google Enterprise ecosystem.
Doug has spent most of his career helping to launch and then build high growth technology companies. Doug worked at EVault (now i365, a Seagate Company), as Vice President, Enterprise Sales. During his six-year tenure, from 2002 – 2008, he helped lead EVault from 2 Million to 48 Million in revenue and a successful acquisition by Seagate Technologies. Prior to Cloud Sherpas, he was responsible for North American sales at Atempo for three years. Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University.
Karl Lamberth, SVP Professional Services
As SVP of Professional Services, Karl is responsible for the service delivery organization, including consulting, migration and application development efforts.
Prior to joining Cloud Sherpas, Karl spent 10+ years with Accenture where he provided professional and management consulting services to fortune 500 companies. Karl has also worked with start up and early stage companies. He started and ran his own management consulting company for 6+ years, and has also served as the Director of Operations for AppNet and CommerceOne, where he led efforts to develop internal processes and programs focused on enabling the organizations to maintain quality during periods of explosive growth.
Michael Cohn, Founder & SVP Marketing
Michael is the Founder of Cloud Sherpas and the Senior Vice President of Marketing. He is responsible for developing and executing the company’s go-to-market strategies for the company’s license sales, professional services practice and cloud-enablement products.
Michael brings over 10 years of marketing experience to Cloud Sherpas, specifically in the areas of technology services marketing, product marketing and channel marketing. Prior to founding Cloud Sherpas, Michael served as the Director of Marketing at Optimus Solutions and as a WW Channel Marketing Manager in IBM’s Software Group. In these roles, Michael developed marketing strategies and executed programs that contributed directly to revenue growth. Michael holds an MBA from Emory University and enjoys spending time with his two young children.
Eran Gil, Founder & SVP Business Development
Eran is a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Cloud Sherpas and is responsible for the company’s business development efforts, focusing on international growth strategies and business partnerships.
Eran comes to Cloud Sherpas with over 15 years of sales and business development experience in the technology industry. Prior to co-founding Cloud Sherpas, Eran led the international expansion for Canvas Systems as the Director of International Business. In just over two years, Eran nearly tripled the business and the company’s international foot print. Prior to Canvas Systems, Eran served in several management roles of sales and business development with various globally oriented technology organizations. Eran holds an MBA from Emory University and is a veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Special Forces Unit.
David Hoff, Founder & SVP Technology
David is a co-founder and the Senior Vice President of Technology. He is responsible for emerging technologies, overseeing customer support, and internal operations at Cloud Sherpas.
David brings over 15 years of IT management experience to Cloud Sherpas. Prior to joining Cloud Sherpas, David served as the Director of Mobility Solutions at Corus Group and Director of Program Management at Optimus Solutions. In these roles, David built professional services practices focused on solution development and implementation using a mix of technologies from Microsoft, RIM/Blackberry, and IBM. David holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and MBA in Technology Management.
