Google Apps Migration Consultant
Primary responsibility is to help transition customers to Google Apps migrating from legacy Novell, Lotus, or Microsoft messaging platforms. Work technical problems and issues as reported by end users or migration tools. Actively monitor alerts and create help desk and issue tickets that must be worked to resolution. Provide remote support as needed to client base. Hours typically are Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm but occasional night and weekend work may be required. Candidate will work closely with Sales organization but report directly to Director of Professional Services.
Requirements
- Provide technical support to customers and Cloud Sherpas internal sales team
- Complete and document all pre-sales engagements with ticketing system
- Collaborate with Cloud Sherpas and Google sales teams to close enterprise business
- Provide system administrator and end-user training where needed
- Ensure deliverables are submitted on time
- Provide on-site services at customer locations when needed (25% travel)
- Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2003
- Email client experience with one or more of the following (Outlook 2003/2007, Lotus Notes versions 6-8, and Novell GroupWise)
- Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate, and resolve network problems
- Project management methodology and change management

Sales Engineer
As a Cloud Sherpas’ Sales Engineer you should posses excellent technical, communication and organizational skills to join our Sales team. You will work with sales representatives on the team to engage with prospects to understand and assess customer requirements, prepare and present demonstrations of Cloud-based products and address technical questions that arise throughout the sales process. You should be a confident presenter with excellent communication skills. Top candidates must demonstrate the ability to persuasively present Cloud Sherpas’ and its partners’ products. In addition, you should be comfortable working closely with our sales, professional services, and product development teams.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers on both technical and non-technical levels to ensure superior service as well as interact directly with key partners’ support and product personnel to resolve issues.
- Work directly with clients messaging, collaboration, security and compliance applications to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer environments.
- Provide hands-on as well as virtual assistance designing and communicating technical solutions.
- Travel 25% of the time visiting customers throughout the US.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with strong academic record.
- At least 3-5 years of experience serving in the capacity of a sales engineer or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role to include working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team.
Skills
- Understanding of enterprise networking concepts (DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, DMZ) with a particular emphasis on mail routing and proxy architectures along with an understanding of network identity management systems to include SSO, SAML, LDAP, Kerberos and NTLM.
- Conversant with enterprise content & document management solutions and associated architectures is desired.
- Background in or extensive knowledge of messaging systems and protocols (MTAs, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, etc..)

Java Developer
We are looking for an enthusiastic software engineer with 2-4 years experience who is comfortable with the latest technologies for building web applications, has a strong sense for quality and has excellent analytical skills. We are looking for an independent self-starter, who is also a great team player, and always on the lookout for new techniques and technologies to improve our work. Ideally, you have at least a couple years of experience with the relevant technologies listed, but lacking that, you might be able to convince us that you are just born for churning out awesome software.
The Java Developer will work on SherpaTools for Google Apps and other Cloud Sherpas software, as well as application development and integration projects for our customers. You must have an ability to communicate professionally with customers.
Technical Requirements
- Core proficiency in application development in Java and XML.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency developing on Eclipse
- Experience with unit testing such as JUnit
- Familiarity with Java ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, EJB, JDO, or JPA
Nice-to-haves
- Background working on an Agile/Scrum team
- Experience in GWT UI development, especially around the MVP design pattern
- Experience in Google App Engine development and deployement

Project Manager
The Project Manager/Business Consultant is responsible for providing project management, requirements gathering/definition, process development and consulting services to our clients. This position is an Atlanta, GA based position.
Experience / Requirements
- Required: Minimum of 4 years experience working in a consulting environment during systems implementations
- Minimum 2+ years experience managing systems implementation teams in a project-based environment
- Desired: Project Management Lead experience as well as experience in system development lifecycles.
- Knowledge of Google Apps/Cloud based computing environments is preferred
- Technical: Proficiency in functional and/or business requirements gathering, project management toolsets/methods, systems configuration experience

Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager will play a critical role at Cloud Sherpas, having the responsibility for planning and managing Demand Generation activities. “Content is king,” in today’s marketing world and this job has responsibility for identifying and creating content that will generate the greatest interest from our target audiences, and generate inbound leads for the sales team. The Marketing Manager will assist in the planning of annual and quarterly tactics, both digital and offline, and help develop marketing collateral. The desired candidate will need to be a self-starter that wants to wear multiple hats and help a start-up technology company take their marketing to the next level.
Position Responsibilities
